5th ball - 5th ball starts new series of logic games from Frostworks. The goal of the "5th ball" game is to create maximum amount of lines joining five balls. To create a line all you need is to put a ball on the gametable and connect it with another four balls (which already exist) directing towards the end of new line. All available directions (horizontal, vertical and two diagonals) can be used once per each ball. That means that a maximum of four lines can go through each ball. The game is over when no new balls can be added. So the rules are quite simple, but the game is not as easy as it looks and should keep you occupied for hours. Just try!
The game offers five gametables: C R O S S, Wind & Rain, Morning Dew, Constellation and Sage�s Dream. Each of the gametables has its own unique structure made up on basis of logical combinations.

SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

This Software License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single legal entity) and Frostworks, Ltd. ("Frostworks"), the author of this Software, for 5th ball V. 1.2, which includes computer software (all program and information files), associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT").

SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

By installing, copying, running or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you may not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE.

Frostworks grants you the right to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and your personal registration keys in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

You may install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on only one computer at a time. "Use" means loading in temporary memory or permanent storage on a hard disk or other storage device. You may make one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT solely for backup or archival purposes or transfer it to a single hard disk, provided that you keep the original disk solely for backup or archival purposes. You may not rent or lease the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or copy any written materials accompanying the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation. You may not modify, translate and create derivative works based upon the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. You agree not to utilize the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in violation of any international copyright law.

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT may not be sold or be included in a product or package which intends to receive benefits through the inclusion of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

1.1. UNREGISTERED VERSION LICENSE.

You may reproduce and distribute an unlimited number of copies of the unregistered version of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, provided that each copy shall be a true and complete copy, including all copyright and trademark notices, and shall be accompanied by a copy of this Agreement. The unregistered version of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT may be included in any free or non-profit packages or products.

You are welcome to evaluate the SOFTWARE PRODUCT during 10 program runs period. Extended usage requires registration. To purchase the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and get your personal registration key please visit http://www.frostworks.net/5thball/register.shtml.

1.2. REGISTERED VERSION LICENSE.

When you purchase the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you will receive your personal registration key which is used to control all the features available in the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

Registration keys may be used in conjunction with the SOFTWARE PRODUCT only by the person or organization which purchased the associated product license. Neither a license nor a registration key may be transferred from the original end user purchaser to any third party.

Registration keys are not the part of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and may be stored or copied only by the person or organization which purchased the associated license, and providing that the terms of the associated license are met in full. Such storage or copying will be permitted solely for the purpose of using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT according with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. No person or organization is permitted to store or copy a registration key for any other purpose without written agreement from Frostworks.

You may not distribute the registered version of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and your personal registration keys. You acknowledge that distribution of the registered version of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT as well as distribution of the registration keys, whether intentional or unintentional, will damage Frostworks both financially and professionally and will result in immediate and automatic termination of your license.

2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.

Separation of components.

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT component parts may not be separated for use on more than one computer.

Software Transfer.

You may permanently transfer the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of your rights under this Agreement, provided that you retain no copies and the recipient agrees to the terms of this Agreement.

Termination.

Without prejudice to any other rights, Frostworks may terminate this Agreement if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, all of its component parts and all registration keys which are in your possession.

3. COPYRIGHT.

All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, the registration keys and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by Frostworks. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material, except that you may install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single computer provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes.

The name of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, the name Frostworks and the Frostworks logo are trademarks of Frostworks, Ltd.

4. NO WARRANTIES.

Frostworks expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any related documentation is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT remains with you.

5. NO LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES.

In no event will Frostworks be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, even if Frostworks has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
